Pre-register on the SBDA website: your name, dog’s call name, and competition level: Junior or Open.
Head-to-head competition at two levels for a dog's ability to mark single retrieves. Junior Level – dog may be restrained at the line and must return to the line but are not required to deliver to hand, i.e., Started dogs.
Open Level – dogs must be steady at the line with no restraint and deliver to hand, i.e., AKC Senior/Master, HRC Seasoned/Finished, NAHRA Intermediate/Senior dogs). All dogs will be graded on their marking ability and style.
Every dog runs all marks (three land, three water). Scores will be posted after each series. No electric collars.
Prizes are awarded at each competition level. There will be a Potluck BBQ Lunch; SBDA will provide meat. Please bring a dish to share (appetizers, salads, desserts, beverages). Please BYO water/beverages for yourself and your dogs.
