The Chukar Challenge is back this Saturday, September 17, 2022!!!!!
This is a fun field trial on chukar for any breed or type of dog. All are welcome. We will have many labs, a few setters, some GSPs, probably a springer from the wilds of Idaho, maybe a golden or toller, certainly some Brits. No experience necessary, for dog or handler.
Entry to this event is $50 per dog, max of 40 dogs. Please register for this event at spokanebirddog.com under Events- Chukar Challenge.
Event will start promptly at 8:00 AM at the Espanola grounds, so please be sure to arrive on time. We will run 10 minute braces for all entrants, fastest 8 times will advance to the finals. There will also be 2 wildcard dogs that will advance to finals. Wildcards to be picked by random drawing or by crowd selection.
Electronic colors are permitted.
All you need to participate is a dog and a leash. A shotgun and a hunting vest would also be handy to have. If you would like to have someone shoot for you we can arrange that..
Handlers with multiple dogs need to register each dog individually, please.
