SBDA HRC Hunt Test (Saturday, May 23, 2026)

Assess your retriever’s field performance with simulated hunting conditions. SBDA’s hunt tests utilize duck blinds, decoys, boats, and calls. Dogs are placed in categories based on ability, not age. Dogs do not compete against one another for placements but are judged individually against a “standard” - the HRC requirements for your dog's level

NAHRA West Regional and Regular Field Test (Friday, June 05, 2026)

Pointing Dog Training Day (Saturday, June 20, 2026)

Pointing Dog Training Day with Donaye and April Smith.

Pointing dogs of any age, breed and ability welcome. Bring whatever training gear you have. Donaye and April will help you work with your bird dog at whatever level of training your dog has.

Starts at 8am, ends when everyone is ready to be done, usually around 1pm.
